"gkhair@" was founded by salon directors, Geraldine Harkins and Kevin O'Neill. Having both worked in the hair-dressing industry for many years, these two very well respected professionals with celebrity clientele decided to combine forces and bring the "best of the best" under one roof making "gkhair@ Brown Cow" one of the city's ultimate hair experience destinations.
As well as each member of the team being at the forefront of cut and colour treatments, Geraldine specialises in and has a passion for Bridal Hair and makeup. Geraldine has worked with hundreds of brides and bridal parties to bring about the perfect look for their dream wedding. She has heaps of experience, enthusiasm as well as being very creative and a great listener! You'll feel as if you haven't just met the ultimate bridal hairdresser but your Fairy Godmother too!
Kevin's speciality lies in the realms of hair extensions using 100% real hair. Already a well respected hair stylist, Kevin realised he had a penchant for this specialist area after being invited to teach others to do the same. At the height of his career, he went further and taught the art of hair extensions to hairdressers all over the country. Kevin works to an exceptionally high standard and has received many accolades and a loyal following for his work.
Gillian Flood is also a member of the gkhair@ team. Gillian has many years as a stylist under her belt and has managed and run some of the city's top salons. Gillian is the perfect person to talk to about problem hair. Her friendly and caring attitude has won the hearts of many clients whose bad hair days are a thing of the past thanks to Gillian's expertise. Whether you suffer from over processed frizz, fly-away, oily or badly behaved hair, Gillian will walk you through the steps necessary to take care of your new hair-style long after your salon appointment .
She is joined by Sam McCulloch, a well known stylist from the West End of Glasgow who previously worked with London and Nottingham's leading hair professionals. sam is reknowned for her colour expertise and creative cutting skills and has appeared on TV and featured in the national press on several ocassions. Sam's wide and varied clientele encompass people from many professions including sports and acting personalities.
